New Staff & Recent Accomplishments:

Our revenue has grown since 2004 by 35% and our staff has increased rapidly over the past year.  With the addition of Roger Ferrante, Senior Business Advisor, whose focus is to expand and broaden our business advisory services.  One of our Managers, Sarah R. Clover, CPA, CFE recently earned her designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner.  She and Manager, Brad Sackella are working toward becoming Business Valuation Specialists.  Aaryn Hogue is a graduate of Indiana University of PA and joined the firm in January 2005 as a staff accountant.  Mia Giuliani joined us in January of 2005 as an intern, and is a recent graduated from Youngstown State University, and now works full time as a staff accountant.  Angela Wukelich came to the Dolan Group from another CPA firm and is employed as an advanced staff accountant.  Leigh DelSignore, of New Castle joined us in October as a staff accountant and has completed the CPA examination.  Just joining the firm as an intern is John Murphy who will graduate from Slippery Rock University in the spring 2006.

In addition, we have added in Meadville, Ross Lockwood.  Ross was formerly with a CPA firm in Franklin, PA.  Larry Rector has worked at the firm as a Junior Accountant until his recent graduation in December 2005 from Edinboro University of PA and is now full time as a staff accountant.

We see a great and expanding need for the high quality services which we provide now to over 500 corporate clients and their owners.  We are planning continued growth in excess of 20% a year for many years to come. 

Our QuickBooks consulting practice has been an area of particularly rapid growth and we anticipate that will continue.

In short, we have had a wonderful and dynamic year in 2005, but we expect even more in 2006.

John S. Dolan, CPA, CEO of The Dolan Group was the 2005 Mercer County American Heart Association Chairman of the Annual Heart Walk.  The event took place at Buhl Park in September and the firm’s employee’s participated in a successful event.  John also serves as a member of the Board of UPMC Health Services, Pittsburgh and as Chair of UPMC Horizon Hospital Systems in Mercer County and as Chair of the Sharon Industrial Development Authority and a Board member of Valley Shenango Economic Development Corporations.
