Tax Director - Sharon, PA

We are seeking a CPA for a Tax Director for our Sharon, PA office. You will be the team leader responsible for developing and strengthening the firm's tax practice. Candidate for this position will be strongly considered for Partnership as a direct entry or very near term partner possibility.

Qualifications / Requirements

10+ years of audit/tax experience
Sound technical skills and analytical judgment
Proven management and organizational skills
CPA designation
Excellent communication and client management skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
Bachelors degree in accounting (Master's degree preferred)

Manager/Supervisor

Manager/Supervisor to plan and supervise assignments for the Sharon, PA office. Responsibilities include hands-on involvement on assignments, training and developing staff to assure improvement of accounting, tax and consulting skills, enhancing the procedures to improve efficiency of the office, acting as liaison between staff and partners, and reviewing assignments with partners.

Qualifications / Requirements

6+ years of audit/tax experience
Proven management and organizational skills
CPA designation

Qualifications / Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting/Finance
2-5 of years public accounting experience, (CPA candidacy desirable)
A solid understanding of accounting and audit issues, including GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS.
Ability to research accounting, audit and tax issues using online resources
Previous tax return review and relevant audit experience
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently, and adapt to changes in priorities
Effective communication, presentation, and report writing skills
Ability to supervise staff and lead projects in a team environment
High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines
