Sharon, Meadville, Feb. 2, 2005 — Employees at The Dolan Group are joining companies across the nation and wearing red on Feb. 4 to support the American Heart Association’s wear red day event and to increase awareness of heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women.
Julia Shuttic, a staff accountant at the firm and board member for The American Heart Association organized the event at the Dolan Group offices in both Sharon and Meadville.
Employees will donate $5 to the American Heart Association and the contribution will be matched by the firm. Partners John Dolan and Nick Pici of The Dolan Group will host an employee luncheon featuring red-heart shaped sugar cookies in honor of the fund raiser. Money raised will benefit research and education to help reduce the incidence of heart disease in women.
“We are committed to supporting organizations and programs that interest our employees. Since heart disease affects so many of our employees’ personal lives, wearred day is a perfect fit,” said Dolan, CPA, CEO.
