The Dolan Group Is Recognized by Slippery Rock University

Sharon, Pa., Feb. 8, 2005… The Dolan Group recently received recognition from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (SRU) for its generosity and commitment to supporting students, and for their aid in establishing a culture of giving.  The CPA firm partnered with SRU to form The Dolan Group accounting scholarship.

Nicholas J. Pici, CPA and partner of The Dolan Group and alum of SRU attended the recognition ceremony that highlighted the firm for making a difference in the lives of students.  

According to Career Journal, accounting is the number one degree in demand at the bachelor’s level. “We are acutely aware of the importance of a quality education.”  Pici said. “We are thrilled to be in a position to offer the scholarship to accounting majors. You never know, one of them (students) may be working for us someday.”

The Dolan Group offers a wide range of business consulting and financial services as well as accounting, auditing, and tax planning in the eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania region.  With offices in Sharon and Meadville, PA, the firm has twenty-five (25) full-time employees, including eight (8) certified public accountants.
